Candidates planning to attend a four-year accredited college, university, community college, trade school or special program that will enhance their opportunities to become successful individuals during the 2010-2011 school year may submit their application to the Friends of Julio Tavarez for review.

Scholarships from $250 to $500 will be awarded to students residing in the 5th Ward. Must be postmarked by March 1, 2010
