The 5th Ward Speaks Up: Summer 2008 Neighborhood Collaboration Meetings Report
by Administrator ~ September 1st, 2008
During the first series of Neighborhood Collaboration meetings, the residents of Paterson’s 5th Ward have expressed the urgent need to have basic quality of life issues addressed by elected officials. I am humbled and grateful to have been able to take part in these meetings and hear our constituents SPEAK UP on the issues that matter the most to them. As I have stated before, it is my intention to serve the ward, and thus, the city, in a manner that tackles our challenges and makes Paterson the effectively functioning city it should be.

The number one thing that we can’t forget is that, our elected officials can’t do everything for us, we must be a major part of that collaboration that councilman Tavarez speaks about. Patersonians must be one hundred percent involve in this new energetic movement of change to our community.

Patersonians lets focus on continuing to make our city great and let us be a vision for other cities to emulate.
